  It’s has been 2 weeks since i came back to melb…it’s really scary how quickly time flies….well..never came back to melb so early..it’s 2 weeks BEFORE my uni starts(i usually get back to melb AFTER uni starts :P)!!!!!well thanks to my bro..since he’s the new comer and he has to attend his enrolment day..so me and the whole family decided to fly to melb on 13th of feb and get everything settled down for him..and since my bro-in-law’s sis aka carmen aka munni is comin to melb to study also..my bro-in-law and eldest sis get to come to melb as well..hehe

    It’s still summer here in melb..u have to no idea how WARM melb is during summer!!the summer over here is not same as malaysia’s..the hot weather din makes u sweat but makes u get tanned easily..so i m sooooo tan right now..hehe it’s alright..since there are thousand ladies in melb spent dunno how much on fake tanning services..i’ll juz enjoy the new tanned me!

  3 days after i got back from melb..i went to watch movie with my frens at chadstone..met up with Thao at flinders station..and we went to chadstone to meet up with jess,adele and pui mei.it feels really great to meet up with ur long-lost fren(well not really long lost la..3 months)..there are endless of topics to chat and gossip…from the holiday we had spent till the activities we gonna do during easter break which is still 2 months away..haha!after movie,lunch and shopping..finally we went to uni to buy some text books.. 

    On the night before cny which is reunion night..my mom was busy cooking reunion dinner…this is the 1st year my sis and bro-in-law join us for reunion dinner since she got married..so it’s a meaningful 1..actually we thought of having dinner at restaurant so mom doesn’t have to cook..but all the chinese restaurants in melb are booked out..heard my sis said the chinese over here even make their reservation A MONTH earlier!!!wah!!since when melbournian become so kia su..haha..mom was making steamboat and eldest sis was helping..all the kids were busy playing cards..sing k using ps2…playing monopoly etc etc..after dinner we went to china town to walk around…seriously i was a bit shock when i reach there…i’ve never seen china town like this..the russell street was closed..the whole street was packed with booths and ppl..i bought a mini windmill from one of the booth..heard that windmill could actually help u to change ur luck?or stuff like dat..if u were having a bad year last year..it actually can helps to bring all the good luck back this year..haha hopefully it works!at around 1130pm..there was a lion dance performance…there were total of 8 lions dancing!well…wat had attract my attention is not the lion dance performance…is those guys who performing inside the lions!man they r hot!haha ..apparently i m not the only one who noticed that.. so basically during cny my daily activities are like playing cards,playing monopoly,sing k, playing i-toy, shopping, shopping and shopping..haha even though feel abit upset cause couldn’t meet up with my frens in kb cause usually this is the only time all the frens get to meet up..but wat could u ask for more but to have ur family to be with u during cny?hehe..

  Uni has offically started on 26th of feb..school life was fun but timetable was crappy..sigh..

    My latest hobby is to walk around the park located opposite my apartment and feed the ducks!haha it’s really fun!!!and i din noticed that u could have so much fun in a park..i did duck-feeding…play around in the playground…play basketball with some random unknown guys..and there are heaps of cute dogs in the park with friendly owners!there are four dogs that i’ve met on that day and their names are tiffany,coco,cookies and i forgot bout the other 1.. they are all HYPER ACTIVE!among of these dogs..i love coco the most..she is only 10-weeks-old shitzu + terrier puppy..even though she’s tiny..she’s always keen to fight with other big dogs to get the baseball..i don think she is aware of her own tiny size though and she often got "run over" by those big dogs!hahaha

    On 28th of feb was my eldest sis’s birthday..due to some reasons she din wan her actual age to be revealed in public..so let’s assume she is 25 years old now…hahha hope she won see this..me my 2nd sis and bro bought her a Myer-coles gift card..dad and mom got her swavroski crystal necklace..and her husband is paying all her bills that she has spent on her big day!at night after dinner at shark-fin house..me,my bro-in-law,2nd sis and munni rushed to safeway to get her a cake..haha we din plan to get her a b’day cake actually but end up we were guilty and we got her an apple tea cake..and we bought a packet of decoration candies to decorate her cake..i bet she had lotsa fun dat day!haha

    oh ya i wana welcome all the new comers like my bro…munni ..oie khan siang and chia peng..australia is a great place to live and study..hope u guys enjoy it ! oh juz received a  great news …Mr L is confirmed coming to melb during easter break!not sure bout chia peng ..but i really can’t wait till easter break to come!

    Mom bought a set of cute pink utensils!not sure y she chose pink..maybe she wana increase my interest in cooking!haha anyway they are juz too cute to use.

i was suppose to update this blog on last night…but someone called ah bu kept on reminding me how many days left till my assignments due…so when i was almost finish updating my blog..i felt really guilty and i started to work on my assignment..well it is great to have an evil fren like him to remind u that ur exam is comin soon…although the way he motivates me to study is a bit irritating…but still…he’s trying to make me play less n study more..so bu u r categorised as an angel in my list!ahha

Tuesday is the B day…1st reason…because i went to play Badminton in the morning..ermm…no is noon…12 p.m.…hahaha..i was going with viola because never been to melbourne uni gym before…wei siang told me that we will be late…and i told him "nah!we r gonna be there just on time!"…somehow..his prediction is just so precisely correct…we were late for 20 minutes…because we got lost in melbourne uni!hahaha…we were walking from the east side to the west…before we got to the gym…i think i’ve burnt more than 200 kilojoules of calories d..aha good 1..

i’ve met some long lost frens from taylors college…like wei siang n nicholas II…it is weird..we r living in the same city…their uni is close to my place..but we never got to meet each other since we graduate from taylors on year 2004…weird weird…honestly i never play sport since i came to melbourne…yes u r right..never!well i did attended a yoga class before…but it turned out not as good as i expected..well i was just afraid that my bones might just crack when i was trying to put my legs behind my neck…ermm sounds kinky right…but TA-DA!i actually did it!!i did put my legs behind my neck..well..oh back to badminton…well overall it is fun!!so much fun…oh wei siang is actually is a very good badminton player..very pro i can say…and he was being humble on the other day and say that i can definitely beat him up!huh!but turned out he was playing so well and keep on smacking the ball and i couldn’t even response before the ball is out of my sight..fine! when i was partner with lesther and play with viola n nicholas I…we actually won 2 sushi rolls!wao…good on us!!but he is the one who worked so hard so he deserve the sushi rolls.. not me..hahahah…After that we went to china town to have lunch…well some guys are really good at asking lame IQ questions..though the IQ questions are lame but i couldn’t get the right answers…><"

The second reason because pf the Bbq party at nite, it is actually a family party, with uncle n family..hehe..i’ve learned a new technique to set up the fire…use a hair dryer!yea..and it works!so quickly!haha.. had fun that nite with viola n her frens..the foods are so delicious..thanks to aggie…XD..

that night viola came to my house to stay overnight ..because on wednesday morning there’s someone comin got my apartment to set up the fire alarm..mom reckon it will be better if someone is there with me when the workers are here to set up the fire alarm…on wed morning we woke up at 8 because i was informed by my building manager that the workers will be here at 8…but somehow they were late…sigh…when the workers are done with their job..me n viola went to the swimming pool at my aparment n do some spa n sauna!XD after that we went to boba tea at lygon street to have our late lunch.

I was watching the interview of Terri Irwin yesterday about the death of her husband — Steve Irwin…erm…she was telling the time she knew about the accident..how she cope with it and so on…it is really heartbreaking and u can actually feel the pain of losing the love one…erm…just appreciate your love one and anyone around you. XD

oh received a parcel on monday…is a bottle of red wine from gee!hehe thanks a lot ya gee!anyway wat’s the meaning?i m still not sure eh…

Last week i received an email…it’s a b’day invitation from pui mei…the title is "My 20th Bday!!!U Better Come!!It’s an ORDER!!!"..haha yea..that’s her way to invite us to her b’day party..haha..pui mei is one of my besties in uni n guess wat..she was borned in malaysia!!but she moved to melb when she was two…so yea…she’s not that malaysian malaysian…if u know wat i mean..

Puimei actual b’day falls on tomro..but her mom help her to organise a b’day party on weekend so everybody can go..n puimei’s mom is sharing the same birthday with puimei!!wat a coincidence!so this b’day party is actually bout puimei n her mom!

puimei live quite far away from the city!even further away from my uni..so it tooks me quite awhile to get there..this is my 1st time to get up at 9 in the morning to attend a b’day party!haha..and today the weather is actually very windy..erm when i say windy is actually very windy…when i was waiting for tram at the tram stop..i juz fell like there are FIVE HUGE FANS blowing at me!i juz couldn’t stand straight n couldn’t open my eyes cause the dust or sand or watever might juz get into my eyes…sigh..melbourne weather..

when i got to puimei’s house with thao n adele, the rain started to pour…oh poor pui mei..because she was going to have a bbq in her backyard…but now she has to do it in her balcony…wasn’t sure is dat call a balcony…but yea..she has a nice house…nice garden with nice scenary..n a friendly dog(or maybe a bit hyperactive?)named "montee" …well..when i talked to her parents..i m surprised that they still have the malaysian slang when they talk..even though they moved to melb like..ermmm nearly 20 years??amazed..and feel warm..too..haha..

after enjoying all the good foods and delicous desserts…we play cards..chatting..take photos..and hit the "garfield" that was filled with lollies and chocs …fun game indeed..haha..at least it is new to me..

Pui mei’s mom invite quite many people to the b’day party…and most of them   are malaysians!well when i was walking around the house…i feel like i m in somewhere around malaysia..haha trust me..i’ve never met so many malaysian in 1 day!yea…and i m excited…hahaha…for some unknown reasons…

meeting so many malaysians makes me think of my home…miss mom’s kao jam n miss kengsom!:)

i always thought it’s good to update your blog during the holiday…because it will makes ur blog looks more lively and cheerful..ok now i m…yes having a holiday from now… i deserve a holiday ok??was having a bizarre and awful week..biomed assignment due on tues, online test due on wed, lab report due on thurs and microbiology test on fri!!!sigh…juz freaking me out!was stressing like mad n unable to sleep…but everything is over now…and yes…thanks to my family…their support is my biggest motivation!!without them i m not gonna make it through…and of course…my frenss…they never fail to show their lovess and cares…touched!!calls and companion are the biggest stress reliever to me!oh thanks to gee also..dunno…juz wana praise u for song song..n viola..she is a sweetheart…very sweet indeed..haha..lastly…thank u lai pick juan…ok brief info bout this guy..good fren of gee..a very sweet n kind guy…wat have he done?hehe..this morning before i go for my micro test was chatting with him on msn..and he knew that i was really stressed these few days..so he said he wana make a surprise to "tam" me..ok juz now when i got home he send me the surprise!is a mtv!edited by him…with the music of "tai mei li"(too pretty?) from david tao…but guess wat…every single scene in the mtv is about him??only the ending got my face!hahaha..anyway nice job!!can’t stop laughing…u r simply too bian tai!!hahaha but yea thanks again…nice effort!i appreciate that a lot..XD

ok back to today…after micro test sis came pick me up…we went to northland to do some shopping n catch a movie…bought 2 tops..sis paid for it…i think she juz wana reward me for working so hard these few days!haha and yess..it is really nice to have a sis that is working…because we can have good food "occasionally", and catch a movie every week..so clap clap for a sis who is working to make our life(or more specific my life) better!

ok this 10 days break is not actually a holiday for uni students..it should be called a "study break" instead…so shouldn’t be playing too much in this holiday…must study for the exam which is at the end of oct!so happy holiday to all my frens in melb and for those who already enjoyed their holiday since last week in adelaide…continue to have fun!

Can’t believe how fast time flies and now it’s almost end of august already…gosh..no more than 12 weeks i m going back to malaysia..AGAIN!wao..doesn’t it sounds really quick…

Because of my birthday is on tomoro…and ppl said that it’s not good to celebrate it after the actual date..so me and jess and thao went to have a pre-celebration even though we have a physiology mid semester test tomoro!and it worth 20 %! and all of us haven’t finish studying yet…but still we insisted to have a small b’day party… and thao’d actually wag 3 classes just to come to join us!touched touched..haha

We decided to meet at smoothie place which located at outside of melb central…the place we always go before tae box. when i got there..they’ve already been there waiting me for half an hour!ok ..then we walked to a japanese restaurant called tokyo garden which is recommended by thao…she said it is really cool because u actually have to take off ur shoes and sit on the floor!oh.."how cool it is!!"hahah…when we got there..we were already starving to the max!ordered 4 special combinations..tempura,udon,sushi,katsudon,beef don..gosh…

After finish eating..we went to crown cafe to get a b’day cake..it’s not a birthday party without a birthday cake!on the way..it was raining..so we put our hooks on..and took silly photos!haa..

When we were in crown cafe…we decided to order A CAKE!for 3 of us! A WHOLE CAKE!!! the girl working there was kinda shock..and keep on asking us to make sure… by the time we finished the whole cake… we were soooo sick of mango cake and swear will never eat mango cake for a year! because of the mango cake..i have to walk home even though it is raining… just because want it to digest quicker in my stomach..

oh yea…they got me a pink floral-printed spaghetti top and a crown brooch which i wanted to buy few months ago..geez…thanks guys..i m enjoyed myself very much!hahaha

When i was in malaysia having my sem break..my sis called me and tell me that she found a cool place..y is dat place cool?simply because they have a cool singer whom sing those old songs that i love! yea..today after watching movie me n my sis went to that cool place. when i stepped in to the restaurant, i saw a old man sitting at a corner of the restaurant..singing old song and playing with his guitar..he is kind of old..maybe around 70…and he does really has a great voice!i clapped whenever he finished singing..so he noticed me and whenevr i clapped he juz smile at me..i enjoyed the dinner very much..not because of the food..but because of the atmosphere…and the songss..like que sera sera(which i crazily addicted  to lately), is now or never by elvis preistly, quando quando quando, and many more…strongly recommended to ppl who like old songs..by the way that restaurant is named universal and it is located on lygon street…i’ll definitely go back again..to listen to the cute little italian old man’s great voice.:)

one month ago..i called a driving school to take a few of driving lesson so i can take the driving test and drive at melbourne legally and "safely". This is specially required by my parents, although i have a full malaysian license but i still havto take the driving lesson because my dad said that melbourne traffic is totally different with kb’s.for ur information, my 2 sisters were driving in melbourne before and they need not to take the driving test..well..now u can understand how doubtful my parents felt about my driving skill..

At the first driving lesson..the driving instructor, Grace ask me whether i wanto take the test at burwood which is around my uni area…thousand miles away from the city…or in the city…which is 24/7 packed with ppls and cars and trams and bicycles!hahaha…i really overestimated myself..i said :" sure in the city!"..and because i live in the city..it’s more convenient for me!!at the very first day..i started to regret d..when i drove into lygon street, the pedestrians were just simply rushed out to the street and on their faces u can see the i-have-9-lives-and-u-can’t-knock-me-down-to-death looks!!well..being a driver..u have to be patient..so i still wave to them indicate that they can go 1st..with a smile on my face still…overall..everything still goes on smoothly..Grace even tell me..don worry..u’ll sure pass!

ok..when come to my 2nd last lesson which is 1 week before my driving exam..Grace was late for 10 mins..and she told me that 1 of her student was taking the exam before..and she failed!ok..and Grace wasn’t seems in a good mood..ok..tell u wat..in the following 90 mins is the hardest time in my life…she was totally acting like a b|tch..she kept on asking me to speed up..for common sense..if u wanto speed up sure u will step on accelerator..at the next second she’ll ask u…"y ur foot is always on the accelerator..ur foot should be on the break always!!!"..ok..at that time my right foot is so confused and keep on wandering between the accelerator and break..ok..later on shesaid wana bring me to somewhere new..she  told me:" at the next street..turn left"then i thought i need to turn at the next traffic light because there’s only the left turn i could see..and before i could reach the traffic light..she suddenly turn my wheel…AND HA!guess wat..my face was more pale than the albino Silas’ skin in the movie– The Da Vinci Code…and i was shock till duno wat to say..tears were already in my eyes..but manage to keep it back…Grace was almost yelling at me..but at the next second when u’re going to react she was back to normal and talk sth nice to u..wao…she’s really good at this!!throughout the whole driving lesson i was totally losing my confidence..and i thought..i m gonna fail the exam on next week…

I called home to tell my parents about this…my mom was saying: don care about her..juz drive the way u like..juz ignore her.." and my dad was shouting at the back of my mom said:" bi bi!!change driving school!!" haha..they din know how warm they make me feel..when u r facing some troubles..and turn out u knew there was someone standing behind u backing u up..like my parents..and the feeling is just amazing..and they just keep on encourage u till u found the confidence again..at the second day my elder sis and bro-in-law called me because they heard dat news from my parents..the most amazing thing about my elder sis is when u hate that person very much..she will feel the same way either..maybe she will hate that person even more..and help u to curse and swear…!!hahaha…that helps!haha..my bro-in-law will juz make the whole thing turns out in the funny way..and my 2nd sis will juz say..i’ll help u to change driving school if u fail!hahaha…as ying ying said…driving instructor are meant to be mean and irritating…so u have the determination to pass the exam and not to see them again!

finally today i havto take my driving exam..in the morning i still have the very last 90 mins driving lesson with Grace before the exam..the night before i couldn’t really sleep..cause i was thinking wat should i do after i fail..erm i think if i fail..then i m gonna drive crazily back to vicroad(which is like jpj in malaysia)…should i retake the exam if i fail or should i stick with public transport for the rest of my life??ah watever..ok back to the driving lesson..i drive as good as i could and try to ignore Grace in case she say sth bad to smash my confidence…but today she was acting like an angel and said she’d pray for me before she came out this morning n bla bla bla..and in case i fail she won give up on me n take this as an experience these sort of things..she even said if i drive like this in the exam i will get full mark..oh dat’s very kind of u grace!!

We went to viroad to register and i finally meet my tester..he’s about 50++ years old..looks like really strict..but grace said he’s a really nice guy…after check my eye sight…and done the pre-test..off we go!the whole exam went on quite smoothly…UNTIL!! until i do the reverse parking..i m not sure wat was wrong with me..i juz couldn’t fit the car into that space!!oh my god..i started to panic and kept on thingking i m gonna fail i m gonna fail.. i turned to the tester whom sitting at the back..asked him whether i can do it again ..he said i hav 4 chances..so i try to calm my mind n redo it..and TA DANG!finally the car fit into dat parking space!hahahah…after that we went back to vicroad..turn off the engine..the tester told me..U R SAFE!!hahahahah…and i was really lucky to score 90++% in the exam..abit taken aback..watever~as long as i pass..after taking the photo my license is ready..and i m still under probation license because i m under 21..and the probation period expire in year 2008..sigh..2 more years to go..just get rid of the P in malaysia now havto carry it with me again..Whatever!!i’m now carrying a victoria driving license and i can drive in melb d!!MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH…i’d make a vow that i m not now going to sit for the third driving exam in my life again!!

15th of April, saturday

In the morning ..i walked to melbourne central to meet up with gee..when i was on my way..the rain started to pour..luckily i brought my umbrella along..however..when i reached melbourne central i was soaked..the rain is juz so..heavy!anyway gee n i decided to go to Mekong to have vietnamese noodle..the restaurant was packed of ppls..because it was lunch time n the restaurant is famous..after the lunch..we went to shop shop n shop..went to myer to played with the hatss n accessories…gee was so doubtful everytime he wanted to buy sth n he had to ask for his mom’s opinion..finally his mom also be tahan wif him n asked me to scold gee n juz buy watever he wants!hahaha..funny..after that went to a cafe in melb central to have a drink..went to Borders to buy card..after that we juz sat on the couch to discuss wat to eat for dinner…finally we decide to have a fine dinner!haha..an expensive 1..since this is the last nite gee stay at melb..we went to a restaurant called blur fire..i ordered a fish and chips and gee ordered chicken breast with dunno wat..n he ordered a bottle of wine some more!i tot we gonna have a glass of wine only..i can’t believe that gee n his housmates were eating anything with wine..such as bat kut teh..tom yam noodle..eeuuuwww!!hahaha…after dinner we went to max brenner again…yes warm belgian waffle again!!muahahahaha..there was a bald guy working there n i was wondering if he is the max brenner?haha..after dinner…it was still raining outside..so me n gee juz share a cab..he send me home 1st..thanks ya gee for the nice dinner!!come to melb as often as u can!!hehehe

Today is good friday which is public holiday in australia…in the afternoon i walked to federation square which located at flinders street to meet up with gee, linda and wilson..before i went out i called gee to ask him bout the weather n he told is very warm..so i decided not to bring my jumper…when i was at federation square linda, gee n wilson were already there waiting for me..gee said he wanted to go to melbourne exhibition central which located opposite at the crown casino..so we decided to walk there instead of catching a tram..we walked pass yarra river which is 1 of the famous river in melbourne..seriously..since i came to melbourne to study i never came here…i remember the last time i was here was ages ago when me n my parents came to visit my sisters..wao it was 6 years ago if i m not mistaken.. we walked in to the crown casino?crown shopping mall ?or watever it call..then to the melbourne exhibition central..when we arrived at melbourne exhibition central it started to rain and the temprature drops like mad..suddenly we felt so damn cold..this is melbourne’s weather…u can get 4 seasons in a day!well lucky us there is a function thingy which they have all books, cds and dvds are up to 80% discount…we were so happy…rushed in n started to do our shopping…i bought 3 books with only 5 dollars each!!!!satisfied..when we got out from the exhibition central is was still raining so we had to take tram…we decided to go to max brenner to eat the belgian waffle again(seems like i m already addicted to it)..but it is closed!!!!!!aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa because of good friday!!!!loon called us to ask us out for dinner tonite..steamboat..because the weather was too cold n still raining so i decided to go home..so i took a cab n go home(i never take cab before..from city..usually i juz walk home!but since today is raining n i din umbrella n the weather is freezing cold..i juz pamper myself once in a while :p)

2 days ago mr loh khang gee had arrived at

…so called to visit us…his frensss…this morning..woke up because gee called me..after finish bathing khek loon n khang gee came to pick me up n we went to café nearby to have breakfast…gee said he never spent 10 bucks on breakfast b4..hahaha..after finish breakfast loon drive us to school..my school…deakin uni…which located at burwood…millions kilometer away from city…on the way gee kept on asking :”r we there yet?” if not he’ll complain the uni is juz too far from the city…finally we were there!gee were so impressed by my school buildings which I think there isn’t anything special..haha..because loon had to hand in his assignment so I bring gee to walk around…I brought him to the jungle which I was lost during my last year b’day when he called me…hahaha..he never tot there’ll be a jungle and a river in a uni..well..my uni has it!hahaha…after that we juz sit on the field and like other aussies and watching ppls walking around..we were so alert when birds flying across our heads because I got hit by bird shit before at the same location..haha..loon went back to city 1^st because he has to send his car back to city to his fren..so gee juz sat on the grass alone while waiting for me to finish my class…1 of my classmate—angela was so sweet…she gave me a easter egg n wish me have a wonderful easter break!hehe…finish class..me n gee caught a tram to go back to the city..we stopped by at bridge road to do some shopping n met some of his frens at there..after that we went back to the city and had a luxurious high tea at max Brenner..well it is not that kind of expensive luxurious…u’ll get wat I mean when u look at the warm Belgian waffle which is the delicious waffle in the world!it juz taste so damn good…haha..after that we went to a lolly store i bought an easter egg for gee n he bought me an easter bunny cause he said on easter we have to give and take…haha then  we juz walked around at melbourne central and bourke street while waiting for gee’s fren –Linda to join us for dinner…we were so tired because of the whole day walking so end up we juz sat on the bench at bourke street and watching ppls again…finally met Linda and we went to kimchi grandma restaurant which located at Russell street and had a very spicy yet delicious dinner…finish dinner we walked to lygon street and meet up with loon and other frens at coco black..chit chat…then they send me home.
