I never had this long holiday before, erm… 7 months? oh yea..postgrad course is starting in july…what am i gonna do in this long holiday?dunno… will i be in malaysia or melbourne? no idea.. anyhow needless to mention.. life back in malaysia is still blissfully great… family, great foods, good company, despite the gloomy rainy weather, everything is puurrfect.

What i’ve noticed when i got back is new shopping centrals could be found just everywhere.. business is definitely booming…guess nowadays there are more bai ka luis like *cough* tai huay zi *cough* gan yew nah *cough cough* popping out.hahahaha.

Since it’s another brand new year, i jot down few of my new year resolutions, like getting a proper part time job (what i mean by proper is a job that related to wat i am studying..well preferably nice pay..and flexible time..haha ok in my dream!), master a good cooking skill, have a strong willpower (for example must stick with my diet plan and not get influenced by my evil frens in melbourne, have the strong determination to stop myself from shopping…etc etc), learn to be more independent, and get rid most of the bad habits. Ok knowing that there’s rather a quite high possiblity that i won be sticking with it but promise i will try my very best, aiya it’s the thought that counts ma!

Looking back on 2007 I would say it was filled with ups and downs, but I m glad that it was more ups than downs, I have nothing to complain about and i won’t take it for granted . I cherish what i am having right now and just wish that everyone i love dearly will have a great year ahead. Happy new year everyone!

Personally don really fancy october, wet weather, stressed exam period, hay fever(not that i have hay fever but looking at my fren sneezing non-stop making me uneasy too), day light saving,teo ying ying’s b’day (hahaha) and etc etc…HOWEVER, there’s someone out there has lighten my moody month! He is the GOD of singers, JACKY CHEUNG!!

we realised he is comin to melbourne for his world tour concert 2 months ago and ever since that day my no.1 jacky cheung’s fan sis has waiting the ticket selling day to come with jollity. When the day comes, it’s really crazy that sis found out most of the tickets had been sold out and left the cheapest tickets, she was horrified and rushed to every store in china town that is selling the ticket. Finally we got 5 tickets because siang and sis’s 2 frens are going too. Phew, can u now see how great is he that his tickets were almost sold out in less than 6 hours.

Indubitably his concert turned out to be a really great show that i highly recommend everyone should at least go watch it once in your lifetime. LOL… i wasn’t a big fan of jacky cheung before the concert, one of my local frens had ask me "isn’t he kinda…old?" when i invited her to go to the concert.haahha…yea but his voice is still really powerful and he still move like 20 years old hunk, and now i’ve converted to be one of his no.1 fans, hehehe.when u listen to him singing live, it’s like u’r listening to ur CD player, IT IS AS GOOD AS THAT!!!and i believe his voice touches and melts everyone’s heart!it’s really hard to choose my favourite songs of the nite but if i be picky i’d choose wo3 zheng1 de shou4 shang1 le3 and ru2 guo3 ai4! he has a great sense of humour too and the anchor session lasted for an hour!!how great is that!

however there were some inconsiderate ppls were keep on shouting :" jiang3 guo2 yu3 (speak mandarin)" when he was talking. HOW RUDE IS THAT!!! no offense to those ppl that speak mandarin but if u have tiny bit of common sense u would know that jacky cheung is from hong kong and ppl from hong kong speak CANTONESE NOT MANDARIN!!!well u don expect mariah carey or lionel richie or michael buble speaks hokkien or mandarin when they are holding concert in china rite??maybe they would speak like ni hao ma or xie xie but definitely not speaking mandarin throughout the whole concert rite???and here is not even somewhere near china!!sigh they just don respect the singer and also embarrassed themselves at the same time.anyway despite all those exasperating moments the concert was still really good! XD

oh and today i went to buy chicken feet because mom said add some chicken feet in the soup it will taste nicer, and i’ve discovered a shocking fact, that raw chicken feet have nails!URGGHHH the nails are really….GELI and look like dracula’s fingernails. hairs on my hands stand up and i don even dare to touch it. Mom said chop it off without looking at it!!!plz don take that advise because u might end up with all ur chopped-fingers lying on the chopping board. at last i have to ask my sis help me to put that creepy chicken feet into the fridge and viola promise she will come over and help me to take care of it. hehehe

Anyway, from now on have to get back to the boring stressful revision. Good luck for everyone that is doing their revision and for those are going to graduate soon let’s gambate together and make this the last exam aight?XD

I’ve destroyed a pot yesterday, it got burned. Luckily i found out early, if not explosion will follow after that, can’t really imagine how i look with the pot stuck on my face for the rest of my life. XD

seriously cooking can’t be that hard right? even dummies can cook! well dat’s wat others say. I shall try harder and practice more. Cause i m actually quite like cooking, in fact i enjoy cooking. XD

Dad advise me to take up a cooking lesson…there’s no way on earth i m gonna do dat! i m gonna learn it by myself. Next mission - steamed fish.

The winter seems not that cold anymore even though it’s only 9 degree, the rain started to pour but i think it was alright, and i actually can hear birds singing, and i m on cloud nine…CAUSE EXAM IS OVER!!hahaha..i m juz exaggerating…but when exam is over, i really really do think everything is juz so wonderful..ppl on the street are smiling …even though i sort of flunked my medical micro paper…every single lame joke my frens told makes me i laugh till my stomach hurts.well yes… finishing 4 papers in 5 days is not a simple task, NOT AT ALL trust me..it’s really impossible for me to concentrate on the next paper when u’ve already squeezed the last drop of ur brain juice on the previous one.But now everything is over~~no more sleepless nite, no more burning midnight oil, no more stucking in the house for almost a month…i m getting my life back.

That’s basically my short winter break is all about.so many things to do, so little time… Happy holiday ppl! XD

today woke up, received a msg:"beware!my fren told me there was a shooting case near flinders, so check the news see wether it’s true.."ok so i quickly log on to the local news webpage to check wat’s going on..well there was shooting happened in the city, 3 ppls were shot, 1 is dead. and worst, the gunman is still on the run. police has closed down the main streets near the crime scene to operate a massive manhunt action.frankly speaking, that news HORRIFIED me. and i still need to go to uni to sit for my very 1st paper, and the tram stop which i usually catch the tram to uni is near that crime scene.BUT they’ve said that the gunman is actually had a target, so police just warned ppl not to be panic and stay inside(yea right as if i can juz not go to uni).

Later i found out the gunman’s target is 2 ladies, when the lady got shot, he is juz a passerby who trying to save that lady, but himself got blasted on the chest and passed away an hour later on the scene. sigh…when sth like this happen, some ppl choose to run away, some ppl choose to stay back n help, but how could a brave guy like him ended up like this when he is juz trying to give assistance to a stranger? just tragic….i tot melb used to be a peaceful place?

anyway big thanks to frens who msg me to check whether i m fine…LOL..thanks guys muakssss.to my frens, whoever have less than 2 papers and going back to hometown soon… don come n show off or else i m gonna bite, i mean it!to those who is still suffering, we r on the same boat!Good luck ppl~

当然，有些幸福和快乐并不是三言两语可以诠释到的。。当你以为你失去了一样东西，你会发现其实你后来拥有的比失去的多很多很多。。幸福和快乐其实就很简单，它可以每天都发生在你身上。当然，不开心的事也很常发生，可是与其自怜自哀，不如珍惜眼前的幸福。没有痛过，又怎样知道更美好的其实在后头?

I was talking on the phone with my dad juz now..and i "accidentally" mentioned to him bout my winter break on june..

我:爸。。我有朋友六月放假要来melbourne nuh..

爸:哦是 meh。。你放假几久?

我:一个月eh!!

爸:har 这样久??? bi 你要回来吗?

我:要!!要!!!!可是飞机票很贵!

爸:多少钱???papa 明天帮你去 check 飞机票!ah boy 要不要回?

when i turned around and wanted to ask my bro..i saw the looks on my sis and bro..they were STARING at me..oh now i remember i actually said dat i m NOT going back this year!!and i actually said it quite a few times…sigh…衰多口

我:pa.. 我不要回了。。ah boy 也不要回。。

爸:oh 你自己想想啦。。要回跟 papa 讲。。papa帮你买飞机票。。

sigh..this is my fourth year in melbourne..and i went home every winter break..and everytime i actually needed someone to acc me to go home..1st year…my dad…2nd year…my sis…3rd year..my fren..so i actually told my family that i m soooooo not going back this july break…cause the air ticket is getting expensive each year..and i MUST not spend so much on air ticket anymore…MAS airline should actually categorised me as vip le regards on the money i spend on air ticket each year…erm…and now i finally understand why gan yew nah called me 败家女…ok..so no matter how home-sick i am …I MUST NOT GO BACK!!!忍到十二月会死么?!

this morning when i woke up..i felt like i was floating…erm…i could only say i was juz taking a "nap"…which lasted bout 50 mins?YES!!!i only slept for 30 mins last nite!!!usually my afternoon nap is longer than 50 mins! din know wat happen..went to bed at 12….and stay AWAKE till 6…and doze off for 30 mins…woke up…then couldn’t remember wat was happening next..couldn’t remember how i dragged myself to tram stop..and got myself to uni..hehe..unfortunately today is a LONG day for me…9 am till 4 pm NO BREAK at all..a strawberry flavour muesli bar is the only energy source than keep me alive till 4pm since morning.. pathetic…

Oh done a pretty interesting medical micro prac today..we were dealing with human faeces, urine , vaginal swab, nasal swab..etc etc..u name it.. we got it.. haha..

something BIG and exciting is secrectly being planned now….AAAA can’t wait!!!hahaha happy anzac day ppl !

     today when i was on my way home from uni i saw sth REALLY disgusting..i should say i’ve never seen anything as disgusting as this in my life!usually i took tram back to the city..but today is "school-girl day"..due to some reasons me n my fren named wednesday as "school-girl day"..so we got off at burwood station and planned to catch train back to the city..from the tram stop to the train station u havto take a short distance walk..and while i was walking with my fren..we were chatting and laughing and sudd sth caught my attention…i saw sth hanging on the electric pillar/electric pole..i seriously have no idea wat that thing call…at 1st i tot it was shoes..u know somehow aussie got this weird habit they like to tie the shoe laces of 2 shoes together and hang them up on the electric pole/pillar..but when i look closely…OH MY GOD..it was a cat!and it was hung upside down..i think it’s tail got stuck on the pole..and it got electrified to death i guess..it’s fur was really puffy…i was really terrified by that scene…SERIOUSLY HORRIFIED!when i got home i started to feel sorry for that cat…anyway i m sure i m gonna have nightmare tonite…and from this incidence i m sure i can’t be a paramedic next time cause i have this thought since months ago that i might wana take up another degree to be a paramedic after my degree..but nah..paramedic is definitely out of my list now..sigh..

    Lucks are not on my side for these 2 weeks..4 assignments due this week…got a cold 2 days ago..seriously have no freaking idea how could i got a cold in this kind of weather..anyway if u ask me panadol active fast, soluble and mini caps which 1 works best…i would definitely say panadol soluble!!hehe and last week i went to see opto cause when i went out with my frens on thurs my right eye was really hurt and it kept watering and couldn’t open it cause it was too sore..well it has been bothering me for awhile but it got worst on thurs so i decide to have a check on it..ends up my right contact-len has broken and it kept scratching my right eye ..no wonder it was that hurt!!havto stop wearing contact lens for a week..and due to the deep scratch i have to drop antibiotic on it to prevent infection…

sigh…guess things would get better next week cause easter break is comin!!!muahahahaha…seriously need a break..and i m currently missing my girlfrens in malaysia VERY much!!!suan,nana,sim,yin,zi,peng,li,xuan and etc etc!!!miss the endless girls chat!!
